Amazon drops government NDAs for data centers and pledges new community funding

AWS CEO Matt Garman says Amazon no longer uses nondisclosure agreements with government agencies on its data-center projects. Amazon also announced its Built Together framework, pledging more than USD 1 billion in additional community investment over five years, starting in the US. This is a company commitment and planned spending, not completed investment or independent proof that data centers have no environmental or energy-cost impact.
