Anthropic expands 40% Claude discount across US government buyers
Anthropic announced a new GSA agreement offering a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government and the Claude API to federal, state, local, tribal and territorial governments. Direct purchasing is available now; cloud-provider purchasing is expected in coming months. Anthropic estimates $1 billion in possible savings, which is a projection rather than realized spending.
