Anthropic reports fewer junior roles in its own technical hiring
Anthropic’s October 16 study of its own workplace found junior technical hires fell from 27% to 9% of technical hires, while junior staff fell from 21% to 14% of technical departments. Technical hiring still grew in absolute numbers. The report also describes more agent-assisted output and human review work. This is one company’s observational study, not proof that AI caused economy-wide job losses.
