Atlassian and OpenAI expand work-context partnership

Atlassian and OpenAI say their expanded partnership connects OpenAI models and ChatGPT or Codex to permission-aware Atlassian work context. Rovo reasoning and Atlassian MCP connections are available now; deeper autonomous Jira work and session synchronization are plans, not shipped integrations. Atlassian says more than 3,000 of its developers use Codex.
