Cohere reports a lower-cost way to organize coding agent teams
Cohere researchers tested how coding-agent teams divide planning, implementation and verification work. In their ProgramBench setup, one strong lead with cheaper planning workers approached an all-strong-model team’s score at a reported 70% lower cost. This is a vendor-run benchmark on coding tasks, not a new Cohere model, a product price cut or a guarantee for other workloads.
