Cohere makes Embed 5 and Rerank 5 available through OpenRouter

Cohere’s official release note lists Embed 5 Pro and Fast and Rerank 5 Pro and Fast on OpenRouter’s embedding and rerank APIs. Existing OpenRouter keys can call them, but OpenRouter billing and parameter support differ from Cohere’s direct API; Context Focus is not exposed there. These are Cohere models distributed through OpenRouter, not models trained by OpenRouter. The original release note lacks a reliable day stamp, so its publication date remains unknown.
