DeepSeek switches Flash access to its 1017 model snapshot

DeepSeek’s official site identifies V4.1 Flash 1017 as its updated model, and its API documentation says deepseek-flash and legacy aliases now route to the 1017 snapshot at Flash pricing. DeepSeek describes improved project development speed and lower cost, which remains the maker’s claim. Its homepage does not give a reliable publication day, so the event date is left unknown; the 1017 model label is not treated as a publication timestamp.
