EU Commission launches voluntary AI science pledging initiative
The European Commission launched a RAISE initiative on October 15 inviting voluntary in-kind support for AI researchers. Listed pledges include cloud credits, model access and compute from Google, Mistral, NVIDIA and others. This is an access and research-support initiative, not an adopted AI rule, enforcement action or total cash financing round.
