EU opens feedback on AI and copyright, with responses due November 3

The European Commission opened a consultation on technology and copyright on September 29. Topics include AI use of copyrighted works, livestream piracy, music remuneration and research. Rights holders, businesses and other stakeholders can submit feedback until November 3, 2026. This is an EU consultation, not a newly adopted law or an immediate compliance obligation.
