EU research guidance adds agentic AI and peer-review detail
The European Commission updated its ERA Living Guidelines on responsible generative AI use in research on October 16. The nonbinding recommendations now address more autonomous AI tools and give more detail on peer review and grant-proposal evaluation, while keeping accountability, transparency and research integrity central. This is guidance for the European research community, not a new AI Act obligation or enforcement action.
