GitHub retires six older models across most Copilot experiences

GitHub confirms Gemini 3.7 Flash, GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, GPT-5.4 mini, GPT-5 mini and Grok 4.5 were deprecated on October 19 across most Copilot Chat, edits, agent modes and completions. Teams should choose the listed alternatives; enterprise admins may need to enable those models in Copilot policy. This is a Copilot availability change, not a model-maker retirement everywhere.
