HeyGen and Kaggle benchmark whether AI-generated video code actually looks good

HeyGen Research and Kaggle introduced Code2Video, a benchmark for turning creative briefs into rendered motion graphics. It evaluates engagement, prompt intent, composition, timing and craft rather than just whether generated code compiles. The report uses 168 briefs and a preference-trained judge. Its scores and failure examples are a specific research evaluation, not a guarantee of quality in a creator's own video workflow.
