Loops Smart AI raises $3.5m seed for shopping assistants

Commerce startup Loops Smart AI announced a $3.5 million seed round backed by a16z speedrun and other investors to develop AI search, shopping assistance and catalog enrichment for retailers. It cites more than 70 customers and pilots; its claimed conversion lift is observational, not a randomized proof. This Loops is separate from the analytics company Salesforce agreed to buy.
