Manus parent Butterfly Effect confirms more than $500 million in financing

Butterfly Effect, the company behind Manus, says it completed a funding round exceeding $500 million. It names Boyu Capital and IDG Capital as lead investors and Tencent, Sequoia China/HSG and ZhenFund as returning investors. The issuer statement does not name a valuation, say the money has been spent, or establish that Manus has become profitable. The financing follows its return to independent operations after the Meta acquisition was unwound.
