Meta revises the stated purpose of its business-site access terms

Meta’s US-English Commercial Terms preview for October 30 replaces language about using linked business-site information to train AI models with language describing advertising, business products, and integrity and security purposes. The preview is not yet effective, and it still describes broad site access and test-credential rights. Meta reportedly says its crawler behavior is unchanged; the revised wording does not establish that business data collection has stopped. Other locale versions may differ.
