Microsoft gives Copilot a persistent Autopilot and a sandboxed app builder

Microsoft's new Copilot combines delegated Cowork tasks, natural-language app building in Code, and Autopilot: a cloud-hosted agent with its own identity, memory, computer, and workspace that can monitor channels, run recurring work, and resume projects days later. Home and Code begin rolling out through Frontier, while Autopilot expands to private preview.
