n8n launches standalone Agents with workflows as scoped tools

n8n introduced Agents that can run from chat channels, a schedule, or another workflow. Each agent can use selected MCP servers, integrations, and existing workflows as tools, with sessions, approvals, versions, and execution logs. The company says the feature is in preview on n8n Cloud, with self-hosted setup available and Enterprise support still to come.
