Open-Chat announces a self-hosted Go platform with MCP and background workers

The author's announcement describes a local-first, multi-user platform with MCP integrations, asynchronous workers and sandbox orchestration. Current repository documentation confirms an AGPL core and separate proprietary components. Connecting cloud models or services still sends data outside the self-hosted runtime.
