OpenAI adds an in-product BAA flow for eligible API organizations

OpenAI’s October 5 API changelog says admins of eligible organizations can accept its standard Business Associate Agreement and enable HIPAA support in organization settings. Eligibility, covered services and modified-retention configuration remain conditional; a BAA alone does not make every feature suitable for protected health information. The older help page still describes an email request, so admins should verify the current flow and coverage in their organization.
