OpenAI launches dots, always-on agents with their own cloud computer

OpenAI introduced dots powered by GPT-6 Astra, with their own cloud computer and connected apps, persistent work context, and proactive read-only research. Rollout begins on Pro and Business Premium in eligible markets, with an admin-enabled beta for Enterprise, Edu, and Healthcare. Current official launch and release-note pages identify Astra; older creator coverage describing Sol is not the current model authority.
