Sierra and Meta propose a protocol for personal agents to act with businesses
Sierra and Meta say they are developing Personal Agent Protocol with partners including Shopify, Stripe and Walmart. It aims to let customers authorize agent access while businesses set what agents can do across sites, APIs and company agents. The v0.1 specification and reference implementation are planned, so this is a proposal, not a deployed standard or regulation.
