Synaptics starts shipping Coralboard SL for on-device AI developers

Synaptics says its Coralboard SL, developed with Google Research, became generally available through DigiKey on October 20 after a limited run. The board includes the first implementation of Google’s open Coral NPU; Synaptics also introduced an SR variant and open Torq compiler tooling. This is a hardware and developer access change, not a new model trained by Google or Synaptics.
