    Baidu releases ERNIE 5.5 Flash Base weights with license limits

    Baidu published the pretrained ERNIE 5.5 Flash Base checkpoint, a 280-billion-total, 14-billion-active sparse model with a supported 1-million-token fine-tuning and inference context. This is a base model before instruction tuning, not a ready chatbot. Its custom license includes territorial and commercial conditions that users should read before deployment.
