    pubX acquires Compliant to add media-quality checks to its ad agents

    pubX announced that it acquired media-governance company Compliant, which it says will continue operating under its name. The companies plan to bring Compliant’s quality signals into pubX buyer and seller agent decisions. Terms were not disclosed, and planned product integration is separate from the completed acquisition.

    pubX announced a $5 million Series A led by Chicago Ventures. It says the financing will support US expansion, a demand-side business and continued development of buyer and seller ad agents. The amount raised is financing, not valuation or evidence that the agents improve campaign results.
