DeepSeek publishes an open research prototype for a proactive coding agent
DeepSeek’s Harness team published an MIT-licensed prototype that watches one GitHub repository and optionally Feishu, then can work in its own session on authorized requests or rules and return a pull request. The team explicitly calls it research code, not an official DeepSeek product or production-ready software.
