Gemini 3.8 TTS turns voice design into a reusable production workflow

Google launched Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS with natural-language voice design, consent-gated voice replication, line-by-line performance direction, long-form and two-speaker generation, and API access for creator pipelines and voice-agent cascades. Flash prioritizes fidelity and acting control; Flash-Lite targets high-volume, lower-latency work.
