    Inworld opens an inference API aimed at consumer AI apps

    Inworld launched an API for serving selected open models in consumer applications, with public developer access and support for caching, routing and service tiers. Its benchmark speeds, reliability and price comparisons are vendor-run and workload-specific. Inworld is the inference provider; Google, Z.ai, DeepSeek and Xiaomi remain the makers of the models it serves.
