Dropbox plans to acquire Tigris to expand into AI storage

Dropbox announced a planned acquisition of Tigris Data, which offers globally distributed object storage for AI workloads. The companies say the deal would speed Dropbox’s new infrastructure business; the release does not say it has closed or disclose a purchase price. A live DBX Agent Cloud launch is a separate product event.
