Grok retires an image API slug and lowers its default served price
Grok retired grok-imagine-image-quality and grok-imagine-image-pro API slugs on November 2. Existing calls still resolve but are served by grok-imagine-image-2.0 at low quality. The official migration guide lists $0.04 per 1K image or $0.06 per 2K image, plus $0.01 per input image when editing, a $0.01 per-image reduction from the old Quality slug. Builders can explicitly select quality on the 2.0 model; the 1.0 image slug is unaffected.
