Meituan releases LongCat-2.5 for visual and coding tasks

Meituan introduced LongCat-2.5, a native multimodal model aimed at long-running coding and visual tasks, in a November 1 technical post. Its dated API change log says the model became available November 2. Meituan reports 1.6 trillion total parameters with about 48 billion active per token and gives its own benchmark results; those performance claims are not independent tests. The current original artifacts establish API access, not a newly released open-weight checkpoint.
