SenseTime releases an open-weight 9B multimodal model for document and coding work
SenseTime released SenseNova-Loop-9B-Preview on October 30 with an accessible, ungated checkpoint and Apache 2.0 license. It accepts text and images and produces text for document analysis, coding and tool workflows. The model reuses part of its decoder layers, so its 9B stored parameters require more computation than that number alone suggests. Published benchmarks are maker-run and deployment needs compatible model code and hardware; the release does not establish broad business adoption.
