NetApp completes an AI-storage acquisition of PEAK:AIO
NetApp said on November 2 it completed its acquisition of PEAK:AIO, whose metadata and parallel-file technology is intended to support large AI training and inference storage workloads. NetApp expects to incorporate that expertise into its ONTAP architecture and future Novus offering. The deal’s closing is announced, but the release does not disclose a purchase price or establish that planned storage integrations are available today.
