NVIDIA publishes a small speech cleanup model creators can run themselves
NVIDIA’s October 22 model card provides RE-USE, a 9.6 million parameter multilingual speech enhancement model, with weights and code for cleaning noisy recordings. It targets noise, reverberation, clipping and poor microphone quality. The card says commercial use is permitted under OpenMDW 1.1, and warns that overlapping speech may be suppressed in favor of the main speaker. Its quality comparisons are NVIDIA’s own tests; creators should review the license and test their recordings before using it in production.
