OpenAI introduces GPT-6 Cyber for approved security researchers

OpenAI introduced GPT-6 Cyber, a model trained for authorized vulnerability research. It reports better results than GPT-5.6 Cyber on its tests and says its researchers used the model to identify serious Firefox and Linux issues; those are OpenAI and partner claims. Initial access is limited to select approved Daybreak Red researchers via API and Codex, with broader Red access planned. This is not a general ChatGPT model release.
