Shield outlines $2.5 billion financing for its planned Echodyne deal

Shield says it is raising $2.5 billion to support the Echodyne acquisition: a $1 billion Series H at a $28.8 billion post-money valuation, $1 billion in structured equity from Blackstone-managed funds, and $500 million in debt led by JPMorgan. The announcement describes financing being raised, not a fully closed $2.5 billion equity round. The valuation is not revenue or evidence that the deal has closed.
