UK financial regulator calls for clearer AI advice warnings

In a speech published October 19, the UK Financial Conduct Authority called on general AI providers to give clear, proportionate warnings about the limits of AI-generated financial information and advice. It also published examples of better and poorer AI practice for regulated firms. This is a regulator request and supervisory guidance discussion, not a new enacted disclosure rule or enforcement action.
