Google sets December 1 automatic routing for Gemini 2.5 API calls

Google deprecated Gemini 2.5 Pro and Flash in its API notes on November 2 and removed them from AI Studio selection. Starting December 1, calls to gemini-2.5-pro will automatically route to Gemini 3.8 Flash and use its rates; gemini-2.5-flash calls will route to Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and use those rates. Google lists breaking differences in function calling and thinking controls. This is a scheduled routing and billing change, not a shutdown already in effect.
