- NewEarendilPi 1.0.1MCP
Pi 1.0.1 scopes MCP servers per project and adds metadata-document sign-in
The stable release lets a project override a user-level MCP server's enabled state and tool exposure, and adds Client ID Metadata Document registration for compatible OAuth servers. It also bounds Codemode output and repairs resumed MCP rendering and sign-in collisions. These are later runtime changes, not a repeat of Pi 1.0 or a provider pricing cut.

- NewEarendilPi 1.0Agents
Pi 1.0 ships leaner Codemode, image-model calls and hardened MCP sign-in
The MIT-licensed stable release adds image generation inside Codemode scripts and tightens MCP OAuth handling. The publisher reports a leaner tool prompt; this is not an independent cost benchmark. MCP itself existed before 1.0, while the terminal now defaults to fullscreen.

- NewEarendilPi DurableAgents
Pi Durable experiments with agents that resume after crashes
Earendil released a separate experimental harness with persistent conversations, task checkpoints and concurrent forks. Interrupted tools rerun only when declared safe; other interruptions are reported to the model. Persistent storage is required for recovery, and the framework does not replace Pi's terminal coding agent.
