Clark launches AI audit workers for accounting firms
Clark announced Clerks on November 2: software agents designed to review audit documents, perform tests, request missing records and prepare workpapers. Clark says more than 35 CPA firms use its tools, but that figure is a vendor claim and the release does not prove a market-wide outcome. Licensed CPAs remain responsible for professional judgments, review and signing audit opinions.

Clark announces an $11 million seed round alongside audit-agent launch
Clark said it raised an $11 million seed round led by Touring Capital, with returning investors participating. Clark says this brings cumulative funding to $16 million, including a separate $5 million round in September 2025. The new money is financing, not a $16 million valuation or proof that Clerks will replace auditors.
