Midjourney tests a Thinking rerun for more faithful images

Midjourney is testing a Thinking rerun on its Alpha website for jobs made with version 8.2. It inspects where the first image missed the prompt, such as objects, layout or text, and generates another version. Midjourney describes this as an early test and asks for feedback; wider rollout and quality gains are not established.

Midjourney adds shared folders for collaborative image work

Midjourney’s Alpha site now lets folder owners invite collaborators who can generate into a shared folder and viewers who can browse it. Link access can be limited or opened to all members. Shared folders do not change image privacy: non-stealth images may still appear on Explore or creator profiles, even inside a private folder.
